Fixing Color, Brightness, and Contrast

Use the Correct tool to make adjustments to the color, brightness, and contrast of your photos.

1. Select a photo in the album, and click Correct on the toolbar.

2. Click Auto Fix to automatically adjust color.

3. Click Auto Fix Red-Eye to automatically correct red eyes. After clicking this button, an Advanced Red-Eye button appears. Click this button if you need to make more red-eye corrections. Click the Add More button as many times as necessary to make further corrections. Click the Remove button as many times as necessary to undo your corrections. Click Clear Red Eye to revert to the original photo.

4. Click Increase Color or Decrease Color to increase or decrease the color intensity.

5. Click Brighten or Darken to increase or decrease the amount of light in a photo.

6. Click More Contrast or Less Contrast to increase or decrease the difference between light and dark.

7. To reset quick fix and color changes, click Reset Corrections. To reset brightness and contrast changes, click Reset Contrast & Brightness.

If you want to apply these changes to another photo, save the changes, select another photo by clicking the Next or Previous Picture button, and click the Apply Last Correction button. After finishing with the Correct tools, you can open the crop and zoom tools by clicking Crop & Zoom.

Note: Clicking the Next Picture or Previous Picture button saves changes made to the current photo.
